Our whole life we have been waiting for miracle. We feel like our life was so ordinary, we are just another side character in this world. We are stagnant, in our way of thinking, in our action. We are waiting, for miracle to happen, for us to CHANGE.
I remember a story I listened during my undergrad, this story about how an english man became muslim. His story started like most of us. He learned about Islam, he loved it, but when it was time to decide, he was looking for signs. Like most of us always said, tunggu hidayah sampai. Then only, we can CHANGE . Or ACT according to what we really want. We wait for miracle. But then he was flipping through the quran then came upon this ayat: (Yunus 10:101)
All around us, there are already full of miracles. Not full, but ALL of these, are His Signs and each and every creation, if we try to learn about it, we will be mind-blown how beautiful and magnificent everything is. Subhanallah. Like Allah mentioned in Surah Al-fussilat ayat 53. Signs of Allah is everywhere, and in US.Tak cukup ke semua tu untuk gegarkan kita untuk ikut perintah Allah?
We are all Muslim. We know Quran is the best. All rules on how to live is in there. But why we just put it on pedestal so high from our reach? Baca Quran, ikut segala apa yang dalam tu.. hindar apa yang dilarang.
Yesterday in class I was talking about some ayat quran. So one of the student just randomly said “ustazah maimunah”.. I was teaching physics. So I said, r u muslim? yes.. so whats ur panduan hidup? Quran kan? hanya ustazah je ke yang boleh cakap tentang ayat al-Quran? Quran tu utk ustazah je ke baca dan ikut? habis kita ni, nak ikut apa? Kalau tak ikut Quran, kita nak ikut apa? Hawa Nafsu? Syaitan?
